Abstract

Criminal acts have been committed throughout the history of all mankind and will continue to be committed in the future. Corruption crime is a complex and multifaceted process that generates negative trends in a develop-ing society. Its dynamics serves as evidence indicating the necessity to conduct research in this area. There is an upward trend in the number of corruption-related crimes since 2020. The majority of acts committed due to bribery are registered. The turnover of corrupt cash in domestic education is about $ 5.5 billion annually, which is comparable to the budget of a small state. In this study, the authors will examine the personal characteristics of the criminal corruption offender in the educational system depending on his official duties, compile his crim-inological portrait on the basis of socio-demographic characteristics, and identify specific features of the typol-ogy of the offender’s personality.
