Abstract

In the article, the author analyzed the features of the financial and legal status of various subjects of the Russian Federation. When writing the article, the following research methods were used: logical, formallegal, method of legal modeling and analysis. In conclusion, it is concluded that Russia as a federal state consists of subjects, each of which has its own financial and legal status, which is established by both federal and regional legislation. Such a situation has an objective necessity due to the heterogeneous, multinational composition of the Russian Federation, historical-geographical, spiritual-confessional, ethno-cultural and socio-economic reasons and conditions of each region, which led to the formation, construction and development of the Federation on the principles of asymmetry. This principle makes it possible to take into account all the specific and essential features of each subject of the Federation when they carry out financial activities.
