Abstract

Drawing on the methodology and methods of historical and pedagogical research, the author explores the process of returning to use the autochthonous concepts of «The Guidance» and «The Guidance in Education». The social and educational mission of the guidance in the historical past and modern national education is defined. Extensive material on the genesis of the concept of «The Guidance in education». The materials proving the intensification of the social inquiry into the guidance mission of educators and managers are given. The mechanisms of reactivation of this phenomenon are revealed.
