Abstract
The article deals with issues related to the peculiarities of the formation of information resource management systems, which is an urgent and significant problem for the modern economic system. To disclose the problem of research, the paper considers the concept of modern information resources, describes the characteristics of information resources and reveals different approaches to the formation of information resource management systems. The study is implemented by implementing such methods of scientific knowledge, as information analysis, synthesis and synthesis of information, structuring. The con-clusion of the work provides brief conclusions on the results of the study and voiced current issues requiring further reflection
