Abstract

Purpose: The study seeks to find out how the steroid usage exposure or Yak-Too movement is spreading on YouTube and what issues are being produced and reproduced importantly. Firstly, what issues have been emphasized in the Yak-Too movement over time? Secondly, what is an important issue in the steroid usage exposure movement in Korean society? Thirdly, what frame is the Yak-Too movement in Korean society appearing in?<BR> Method: The study selected posts, comments and comments of the videos uploaded on YouTube as of 2019. Specifically, based on the keyword ‘Yak Too’ posted on YouTube, this study collected posts, comments and comments from 699 videos. The study collected posts, comments and comments of the Yak Too video uploaded for one year from February 1, 2019, to January 31, 2002, after January 30, 2019, when MBC’s Real Story Exploration Team aired the Yak Too program. The NetMiner was used for data analysis.<BR> Result: Firstly, the key issues in the Yak Too movement by time had not changed much. Secondly, the key issues in the Yak Too movement were exercise, drugs, bodies, thoughts, athletes, PSH, squats, natural, steroids, bodybuilders, muscles and roider. Concurrent issues were followed by usage-drug, men-hormone, growth-hormone, natural-competition, law-exercise, PSH-drug, player-exercise, PSH-support, side effects-drugs, usage-steroids, etc. The issue frame of the Yaktu movement consisted of natural (group 1), squats (group 2), exercise (group 3), drugs (group 4), and body (group 5).<BR> Conclusion: Social network analysis is a very useful way to identify Yak Too movement and interaction issues on YouTube of social media.
