Abstract

This article discusses the issue of such a qualitative characteristic of the state in the globalizing modern world as identity. The thesis is substantiated that the identity of statehood, being an internal substantial property of the state, allows us to characterize the state not as an administrative apparatus, but as a sociocultural whole
