Abstract
Based on statistics from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, the article provides a spatial analysis of two components of the informatization process — computerization and Internetization – for all regions of Russia. For these two components of the Internet- ization process, trend diagnostic charts were constructed, which allowed to identify the leading regions, catching up regions, regions losing digitalization potential and outsider regions. Calculations have shown a prevalence of the latter two types of regions. The ef- fect of slowing of the informatization process is registered in almost all regions in recent years, which requires a separate study.
