Abstract

The article considers the compositional-structural or surface level of the category of prospectus, which shows the text-generating activity of the author in artistic communication, which is vector directed at the addressee. The category of prospectus is considered through the prism of the following aspects, also characteristic of the category of retrospection. Based on the prospectus created in the text of a particular work or other text, it is divided into two types – “inside the text” and “outside the text”. The prospectus “inside the text” is associated with certain facts and concepts in scenes developing within the framework of a work of art. This aspect draws the reader's attention to the narrative ahead of the author's action. The “outside the text” prospectus refers to known out-of-text facts or phenomena where an upcoming event can be realized by the author or reader in the near future. This type of prospectus demonstrates the addressee's attempt to explain the dynamics of mental events in the text, step by step developing his artistic game in dialogue with the reader.
