Abstract
The article considers transformations in the agro-industrial complex, gives their types, causes of occurrence and orientation in relation to organizations of the agro-industrial complex and rural areas. Institutional transformations determine the change in the formal and informal conditions of economic activity. Organizational and economic transformations are associated with changes in the organization. The need to study, plan and predict the effects of changes is shown.
