Abstract

Relay protection automatically eliminates damage and abnormalities in the electrical part of the power system. It is the most important automation that provides them with a robust and reliable protection. Relay protection of distribution network elements should be appropriate[1], which are exposed to all relay protection devices, for example: selectivity, reliability, sensitivity and speed. To protect reducing transformers from damage and abnormalities, according to [1], and based on the calculation, the following main types of relay protection are used: longitudinal deflection protection; gas protection; maximally electricity protection; electricity-stamped without residents time; specially electricity protection zero sequence, set in transformer zero wire with scheme of setting Y/Y, Y/Δ; signalling of single-phase closures to the ground in a fur coat BH or on the power cable of transformers, wich is working in source with isolated neutral.
