Abstract

Pain is the most common symptom in terminal children that can be successfully managed in more than 90% of cases. Review of the literature was performed to describe the contemporary principles of pain control in ‘palliative’ children. The main aim of the paper is the improvement of the pain treatment in clin-ics and at home. The information can be especially helpful for clinical practice of pediatric oncologists, pediatricians and palliative medicine doctors.
