Abstract

The life of a modern human is constantly becoming a source of her emotions and anxiety. Anxiety, like any other emotion, is triggered by the action on the nervous system of external and / or internal incentive. Anxiety is a normal and often healthy emotion. However, when a person regularly feels disproportionate levels of anxiety, it might become a medical disorder. When emotion arises, nervous excitation spreads to the vegetative centers and thus causes changes in the organism's activity. The theoretical context of the study of anxiety in psychoanalytic, non-psychoanalytic, humanistic and behavioral approaches is analyzed in the article. Scientists tend to view anxiety as a significant component in a person's life. The purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical and empirical study of anxiety in workers at risky professions.Experimental and genetic methods can form almost any mental structure. Genetic and modeling method can detect the actual psychological mechanisms of formation of the whole personality. Empirical techniques were used in the study process. In the course of the study, the following techniques were used: 1) Spielberger's anxiety scale. 2) R. Kettel's 16-Factor Personal Questionnaire. 3) the method of diagnostics of the level of emotional burnout (V. Boyko). 4) Beck's Depression Scale. In our opinion, anxiety is an ambivalent characteristic of the personality, because on the one hand it mobilizes the individual, and on the other - an increased level of anxiety activates the negative processes and states in the body's personality structure. At the empirical level, the features of anxiety in workers at risky professions have been identified. We have witnessed the relationship between emotional burnout, depression and anxiety in the context of the work of rescue workers. In the course of the research, the hypothesis was confirmed that employees with longer experience are prone to emotional burnout and to display emotionally cold behavior in relation to both work and life in general. The results of our study will help formulate recommendations for preventing emotional burnout and preventing these conditions. We think that it would help to reduce the risk of anxiety disorders at the fire fighter. Considering that the emotional sphere of the employees of the rescue service needs development, we consider it necessary to introduce a course of emotional competence of the individual. We see the prospect of further scientific exploration in the development of a psychological model of personality anxiety, depending on the type of profession.
