Abstract

The institutional economy considers the role of the evolution process and insti-tutions in the formation of the economic situation. Adhering to the approach that considers the household as an organization of the family institution, we considered a change in attitude towards this institution. The results of a selec-tive study of Rosstat and the 2020 census were selected as initial data. It was concluded that the timing of the organization of the family was increased, the advantages of the urban population in obtaining family income as an economic entity. There was a change in consumer preferences as a strategy for family be-havior in the market.
