Abstract
The article discusses the conditions of origin and the main stages of the development of corruption manifestations in Russia. It is indicated when the fight against it began with legal measures, and what methods were used to suppress it. Next, we consider what modern corruption is in modern Russia. It analyzes which sources are the main ones and serve to spread it, which factors influence its increase and which modern spheres of activity of the state and society are the most problematic in the context of the spread of corruption. The educational process is considered in the context of the legal sphere, and it is indicated how legal education can contribute to minimizing corruption manifestations. At the end of the article, conclusions are drawn about the essence, sources of corruption and ways to overcome it with the help of legal education.
