Abstract

One of the most important signs of technological progress and civilization of the state is the transport system's development level. Without a reliable transport system, neither economic development nor preservation of political space can be realized. This is why the European location of Ukraine with its branched transport system and the transport sector, which can become the basis for Ukrainian economy recovery and development, gains exceptionally great political significance.The problem of economic integration for Ukraine is one of the top priorities, and given that Ukraine is one of the largest European powers, integration with the countries of Europe and, first of all, with the European Union member states is especially important for itThe main objective of the paper is to highlight the main issues that are pushing Ukrainian carriers out of the international transport services markets and identify the main range of problems that Ukraine will face as a full member of the EU.The article presents the main features of the current state of the transport system of Ukraine by types of transport. Представлены the proposals on the main directions of development and formation of the national transport system of Ukraine, which requires effective public administration, the main priorities of the Ukrainian transport system restoration are its proper functioning and development.Therefore, the problems and prospects of Ukraine's transport system development should become the basis for the restoration and development of the state in the process of integration into the European and world economies, and become the basis for the effective entry of Ukraine into the world community. In the conditions of the formation of the national transport system of Ukraine and effective state administration in transport, our state's transit capacities will be able to provide both economic and social development.
