Abstract
The article defines the components and classification of information. It has been researched that strategic information needs depend on the strategic goals of the enterprise. It is revealed that strategic information is characterized by a number of differences due to the nature of the management decision making process. The tasks of organizing the information and analytical support for the formation of the enterprise development strategy, as well as the components and sources of the information and analytical support for strategic management at domestic enterprises, which are necessary for making management decisions, are determined.
