Abstract
The analysis of the performance characteristics of engine oils used in the lubrication systems of marine diesel engines is carried out. The requirements for oils for various purposes are given. Recommendations on the choice of engine oils for lubricating and circulating lubrication systems of marine low- and medium-speed diesel engines are proposed.
