Abstract

The purpose of the study is to reveal the philosophical, ideological basis of the views of M. Hauser, a prominent representative of American evolutionary psychology. The article examines the main provisions of the concept of the origin of moral and legal statements, which was proposed by M. Hauser, from the position of a systematic approach. The scientific novelty of the research lies in substantiating the applicability of a biological scientific strategy to the study of the philosophical problem of the premises and genesis of various value judgments and statements. As a result, the authors identified the features of modern biological scientific strategy, its basic theoretical and methodological elements, philosophical components, heuristic possibilities. The authors showed that M. Hauser developed a complex problem of the formation of moral and legal statements in line with the named strategy, modern philosophical interpretation, systematic development and determinism.
