Abstract

In the context of the continuing increased dynamics of both external and internal socio-political and economic situation, public attention to the state and immediate prospects of education in the Russian Federation is not weakening. Despite the indisputable importance of an objective assessment of the state of education for the correct justification of both the prospects of its development and the optimal ways to achieve the set development goals, the information space does not trace the correct statement of this problem. Since this problem is a systemic one, the proposed work raises the question of considering Russian education on the basis of a systemic approach as an organisational system. In this case, within the framework of the work, Russian education is considered as an integral system, included as a subsystem in the socio-political and economic environment of the Russian Federation, after which, on the basis of preliminary conclusions, the perspective of ‘external’ analysis of the current state of Russian education as an open organizational system is formed.
