Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of leisure education program of adolescents through meta-analysis. A total of 8 papers examining the effects of leisure education of adolescents were selected for data analysis. The data analysis tool was used the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) 2.0 program. The main results of this study were as follows: First, the overall effect size of leisure education of adolescents was .949(Hedges’ g), which was a large effect size. Second, the major factors that influenced the effects of leisure education appeared to be the school level, gender, period of education, frequency of education. The this study demonstrate that leisure education of adolescents is effective and show that the school level, gender, period of education, frequency of education are crucial factors in the leisure education for adolescents design. Based on these findings, some implications for future research are discussed.
