Abstract

The purpose of the article is to develop an economic mechanism for updating the truck fleet. The text reflects the current state of the main routes for the transportation of goods, taking into account the restrictions imposed against the Russian Federation, and takes into account the role of road freight transport in the reorientation of transportation. The material contains statistical data on the structure of the vehicle fleet used in international traffic; the article raises the problem of the outdated transport fleet of national carriers. Using specific examples, the functional dependence is determined and the point of expenses and income for each vehicle is established in accordance with the year of operation and mileage. An analysis of the existing useful life of vehicles was carried out. A methodology has been developed to ensure the efficiency of carriers with the further possibility of transition to expanded reproduction in road freight transport.
