Abstract

The article is devoted to the methodological and prognostic aspects of the African political transformation. The umbrella category of “postcoloniality” is becoming the framework concept for several processes unfolding both in the territories of the Global South as well as in the global North. The former colonial world and its inhabitants are undergoing a complex transition: from a traditional society to a modern social order; harnessing the fruits of decolonization and diversification of forms of co-presence in the cross-border postmodern community. Today, post-colonial problems are recognized in a wide range of phenomena, and they gradually become an important element of the force that influences the outcome of this historical transition not only from the regional perspective of the Third World, but also in the global dimension.
