Abstract

The article examines the main performance indicators of the Russian construction industry as an environment for strategic planning and business modeling of the activities of construction companies. The features and properties of construction as a type of economic activity are shown. The dynamics of the total volume of concluded construction contracts and other orders (contracts) for 2022 are considered. The most important features of construction as an object of strategic planning and business modeling are characterized. The main provisions of the law of construction economics are formulated. The provisions of the law on product localization in construction are specified. The volumes of construction by federal district in 2022 are presented. It is concluded that project management through business modeling involves the emergence of completely new relationships between project participants and the industry as a whole.
