Abstract

The paper analyzes the existing optical-electronic means of reconnaissance, it is noted that optical and optical-electronic means of reconnaissance and aiming are the most important component of ensuring combat operations in day and night conditions. The guidance of weapons and the receipt of up to seven ten percent of intelligence information about the enemy depend on them. Widespread use of optics is due to: high information content of the optical range; high reliability of information; the mobility of optoelectronic reconnaissance equipment; a high degree of preparedness of personnel to work on them. In the course of analyzing the possibilities of detecting optical-electronic reconnaissance means, it was established that at low illumination levels it is possible to reduce the power of the lyser and increase either the accumulation time of the video camera or its amplification. First of all, it is necessary to increase the gain to those. until the pixel values of the «passive» image do not exceed the boundary value. This is due to the fact that atmospheric fluctuations cause reflections to move along the reflection receiving line, which leads to blurring of the image. For far-away opicoelectronic reconnaissance means, the reflection size does not exceed one pixel, therefore, instead of a bright point, a dark spot will be visible. Keywords: devices, observation, determinants, automatic systems, information collection point, range finders, scanning, reflection, erroneous objects, diffuse reflection, pulse duration.
