Abstract

This thesis explores the spirituality and invisibility of the early Russian avant-garde art through the activities of the Petrograd group, Youth Union. Unlike realism that reproduces visible objects, expanding the invisible part of objects into the realm of visualization can be said to be a different attempt from the previous era. In particular, it is possible to understand early Russian avant-garde art through the theory of Kulbin and Matvejs, and to consider theoretical core of various contemporary art groups.<BR> Kulbin
