Abstract
The purpose of this study is to carry out kinetics analysis of baggage walking for safety education in lower elementary school. 3D motion analysis and ground reaction force analysis were used to analyze the bending angle of the neck, tilt angle of body, medial-lateral stability index, anterior-posterior stability index and maximum impact force. The mean and standard deviation of each variable were calculated using the SPSS 24.0 program. The t-test was used to verify the difference according to the weight of the bag. The significance level was set to α=.05. First, the angle of bending of the head was significantly different when walking according to the weight of the bag, and the angle of the head was 10% larger than that of 5%. Second, the tilt angle of trunk was significantly different from the weight of the bag during walking, and the angle of the body was 10% larger than 5%. Third, medial-lateral stability index and anterior-posterior stability index did not show any significant difference. Fourth, the maximum impact force showed a significant difference and the maximum impact force was 10% larger than 5%. These results suggest that the heavy weight of bag in the lower grades of elementary school could negatively affect musculoskeletal health risks. Therefore, it is considered that the weight of the bag should be lowered and the proper posture of the bag walking should be studied.
