Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the mentoring experience of dance majors on immersion and grit. In order to achieve the research purpose, 202 university dance major students were selected as research subjects. Data analysis was conducted using spss 18.0, followed by frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis to draw the following conclusions.BR First, among the sub-factors of mentoring experience, The role model had a significant effect on cognitive immersion and behavioral commitment. Social support was found to have a significant effect on behavioral commitment.BR Second, among the sub-factors of mentoring experience, The role model had a significant effect on effort continuity and interest consistency. Performance guidance was found to have a significant effect on effort continuity. BR Third, among the sub-factors of immersion, cognitive immersion was found to have a significant effect on effort continuity and interest consistency.BR
