Abstract
The article studies the potential of innovation cluster enterprises, analyzes the main efficiency indicators of their activities. The authors describe the definition of resource potential, methods for evaluating its effectiveness. As a example, the potential of the enterprises of the innovation cluster of the Republic of Mordovia is considered. The authors point out the main problems hindering the development of the innovative potential of the Republic of Mordovia, the main of which remains the lack of funding for research and development and innovation activities in the region. In conclusion, as one of the measures to increase the efficiency of using the innovative potential of innovation cluster enterprises, the authors propose to increase and involve the business sector in scientific and innovative activities
