Abstract
he article presents the results of generalization and systematization of methodological foundations for the development of the Russian fishery complex. The normative-legal regulation in the sphere of food security is studied. The interrelated system of enterprises, institutions and organizations functioning in the context of extraction, processing and associated production of the fishing industry is considered. The elements of the structure of the fishery complex have been analyzed. The system of contradictions determining the dialectics of ensuring food security on the basis of the development of the domestic market of fishery complex products is determined.
