Abstract
The article is devoted to studying the originality of the self-presentation super-strategy in D. Trump’s pre-election discourse. The author examines the means of its implementation - specific strategies and general communication tactics. The frequency of using speech tactics, represented at the lexical and grammatical levels, by D. Trump is analyzed. Persuasive techniques are considered as auxiliary/facilitating means in all the tactics and strategies of pre-election political discourse. The direct connection of rhetorical methods with the self-presentation super-strategy is substantiated.
