Abstract

Digitalization of the global economic system in general and cross-border trade, in particular, has become particularly relevant due to the difficult economic situation in the world caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019. As a result, online commerce has taken a leading position in the movement of goods using the Internet telecommunications network. In connection with the above, it can be concluded that the topic of digitalization of crossborder trade in goods is relevant today and occupies a leading position in the field of further development of remote information and communication technologies. In the presented article, the author comprehensively examines the actual problematic aspects of the processes of digitalization of international trade in modern political and socio-economic conditions, and also identifies possible directions for optimizing these processes.
