Abstract

In this paper, we would like to introduce the National Fire Agency(NFA) 『Chemical Incident Response Guide(CIRG-FF)』, a guidebook for responding to special chemical disasters in Korea. In the case of chemical disaster-related guidelines provided by other organizations, information is provided to workers and the public as well as responders to disasters. For this reason, it is somewhat difficult for firefighters to use them. CIRG-FF is composed of response information on historical substances(138 types) of large and small scale chemical accidents that have occurred in Korea over the past 7 years(2014-2020). And, it is composed and produced with a focus on firefighters so that rapid and efficient chemical disaster response can be safely performed, and information such as safety technology for field activities is included.
