Abstract
Relying on the analysis of the existing approaches to understanding the essence of ideology and language, the author criticizes the viewpoint, according to which language and ideology are considered as relatively independent social phenomena and equal participants in the process of interaction. The researcher critically analyses the conception of language neutrality towards ideology and tries to identify language structures, ideological bias of which is obvious.
