Abstract
The article considers think tanks in Kyrgyzstan that have chosen or pay significant attention to the issues of Eurasian integration within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union as a priority area of their activities. The author emphasizes that the central issue of the article is the publication activity of “thought factories”, which analysis provides insight into the number of works (articles, analytical reviews, monographs, etc.) published by one or another think tank on the topic of integration, as well as into a wide range of subjects related to Eurasian integration. The study of publications allows the author to conclude that there is no large, sustained research interest in the Eurasian Economic Union projects among the majority of Kyrgyzstani “thought factories”. According to his data, out of 24 organizations, only 4 are comprehensively engaged in Eurasian integration issues, and all 4 are state think tanks (the Center for Analysis of International Relations at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and interstate university think tanks at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University). Local non-state think tanks of the republic have ties with Western structures represented by governmental, non-governmental and non-profit organizations and focus on issues far removed from Eurasian integration
