Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the sport injures in Korea Men’s national team forward and defense players. In this study, twenty five Korea Men’s national ice hockey players participated in the survey; forward(n=14), defense(n=10, including 2 goalies). The survey included frequency, time, type and parts of injuries, causes of injuries, rehabilitation and prevention. The results are as follows. The first, the defense got more experiences than forward(defense=90.00%, forward=71.43%) and the injuries. The second, forward and defense had a high frequency of injuries on their wrist(forward=42.86%, defense=30.00%). The third, the most cause of injuries was collision and falling(defense=70.00%, forward=42.86%). The fourth, the defense and forward play before recovery(defense=50.00%, forward=42.86%). In conclusion, Korean national ice hockey players must properly recommended to shoulder check for collecting game information before body checking and ice hockey players should be able to reduce the frequency of injuries through wrist strength training. In order to protect the players, they must be allowed to play after complete treatment.
