Abstract
The features of the formation of sociological conception regarding the mechanism of establishment of trust relationships as a kind of social relations in different periods of time are revealed, points of view of well-known sociologists to study the concept of “trust” are disclosed, that are particularly presented in the writings of E. Diurkgeim, F. Tonis, M. Weber, G . Zimmel, P. Shtompka, R.D. Patnam, E. Giddens, D. Kouman, D. Gambetti, A. Seligmen, Sh.N. Eisenstadt, and many others.

Селігмен визначає соціологічний зміст довіри шляхом його зведення, з одного боку, до релігійної віри чи переконання, або, з іншого боку, – до впевненості у виконанні рольових очікувань [7, с. 21]
Селігмен розглядає довіру як явище, що виникає разом із появою свободи іншого, – свободи, що проявляється у можливості переміщуватись між різними соціальними ролями, а також у відносно обмеженій можливості робити більш помітними будь-які аспекти ролей, що ними виконуються, надавати тим чи іншим аспектам ролей привілейоване становище у порівнянні з іншими аспектами [7, с. 73]

The features of the formation of sociological conception regarding the mechanism of establishment of trust relationships as a kind of social relations in different periods of time are revealed, points of view of well-known sociologists to study the concept of "trust" are disclosed, that are presented in the writings of E. Який у своїй праці, присвяченій теорії довіри у соціології, визначає довіру як ставку щодо майбутніх непередбачених дій інших. При цьому соціолог підкреслює обов’язковість уточнення соціальних відносин чи соціальної системи, які розглядаються у певний період часу, незалежно від характеру цих рольових очікувань.
