Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the perception of Korean dance as Korean cultural contents by applying the association rule. Snowball sampling was applied to Korean dance majors and non-majors. The results based on the research questions are as follows.BR First, as a result of analyzing the correlation rule of Korean dance as the Korean Wave culture contents recognized by dance majors, ‘characteristic of Korean dance’ has the highest support, frequency, and reliability, and ‘Korean characteristic of Korean dance’ is used as Korean Wave cultural content. Appeared to recognize. Second, non-specialists of dance can be interpreted as having placed great emphasis on popularization and public relations in order for Korean dance to progress with Korean Wave culture contents. Third, both dance majors and non-majors can be interpreted as having a high awareness of the need for popularization and public relations in order for Korean dance to advance to Hallyu cultural contents.
