Abstract

This study explores performance indicators of mobility services for the transportation vulnerable based on autonomous driving technology. Therefore, the elements of evaluation indicators such as items, factors, and detailed indicators of performance indicators are identified. The study consisted of two Delphi surveys through an expert panel. The expert panel invited experts in related fields such as people with disability, welfare of persons with disabilities, autonomous driving, and AI. The survey period was conducted from August 25 to September 12, 2023. The results of the evaluation index search for autonomous driving-based mobility user services for the transportation vulnerable are as follows. First, usability, convenience, safety, and acceptability are important evaluation indicators for user service. Second, availability, convenience, reliability, and accessibility are important evaluation indicators for the policy support system. However, since the WTP indicator was not ultimately included, it needs to be considered as an important indicator when evaluating actual service performance in the future. The derivation of this evaluation index reflects users' needs for future mobility mobility support services for the transportation vulnerable based on autonomous driving technology and can play a role in checking service effectiveness in the process of establishing an evaluation system.
