Abstract
In this paper from the position of electronic commerce as a scope of business
 activities, including not only trade, payments system, marketing research and
 advertising, enterprise resource management systems, etc., but also electronic
 document management, it has been explained that for implementation of legally
 significant document management the main role is played by an electronic
 signature. Fundamental legal documents in the area of electronic signature and
 a scope of its application have been also considered.
