Abstract

The article conducts a theoretical study of the essential content, origin and coordinates in the complex economic system of «virtualization» and «virtual economy». Based on the use of methodological principles of political economy and chaos theory, it is substantiated that virtualization and globalization are interrelated and interdependent phenomena; Virtualization is a kind of attractor that attracts the components of the transformation of a complex economic system. Within the framework of the functioning of the main forms of management: natural, market, virtual, qualitatively new features and parameters of the modern economy have been identified and substantiated, indicating the formation of a qualitatively new contradiction between the real and virtual economy, the aggravation of which can lead to global shocks and crises.
