Abstract

This study set out to examine cases that instructors had while conducting an interview with field experts. The investigator conducted an interview with 18 field experts to produce an online content video on the topic of personality education. In the present study, the investigator met with interviewees in the field, had talks with them, and videotaped their interviews from January to April 2022. The analysis results of their interviews show that instructors had an opportunity to grow out of theoretical philosophy and convert it into life philosophy through interview experiences. Based on its findings, the study argues that the process of instructors preparing for their lectures can take into account the diverse aspects of life instead of being restricted only to the academic and theoretical ones and that the unique form of an interview can help instructors try new teaching methods based on talks beyond the old instructor-centered lectures. Furthermore, instructors and field experts expanded their relationship to philia mentioned by Aristotle based on their common topic of personality education through their talks on the processes of casting, interview script revision, and field work.
