Abstract

The article named "Optimization of engineering and graphic training of mechanical-engineering focused students" presents the pedagogical technology used in the process of training of bachelors of mechanical-engineering profile to the course "Engineering and computer-aided graphics" of various forms of education. Long-distance training technologies are currently gaining particular importance in providing of educational services to the students who combine their studies with professional activities or study remotely from an educational institution. Along with the classroom, the goals and objectives of the organization of extracurricular engineering and graphic work with students, its place in the structure of engineering and graphic disciplines are considered. The article substantiates how the use of modern information technologies contributes to the optimization of this work in higher technical school. Research papers in the field of reading, processing and creation of graphic information, educational, Olympiad, creative and professionally-focused student works are considered as research materials. These studies confirm that in the content of engineering and graphic training of students (EGTS), it is necessary to update the means and forms of training based on information technologies in order to improve the quality and speed of transmission of educational information, increase the accessibility of knowledge and the objectivity of evaluation of results of professional training of future engineers.
