Abstract

The purpose of the study was to identify the possibilities of using modern digital technologies in the system of physical education of students in the educational environment of the university. This article analyzes the advantages and prospects of using mobile applications for physical education and their impact on increasing the level of physical activity and improving health. The study used methods of theoretical analysis, synthesis of scientific literature, Internet sources and a sociological survey. The advantages of using mobile fitness applications to increase the physical activity of students are formulated. The results of the study made it possible to establish that the use of mobile devices and applications by students during physical activity at the university is developed, but not widely enough. However, recommendations for their correct use are of interest to a large proportion of respondents, who expressed confidence in them.
