Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the influence of migration processes on the economic development of the USA in the late 19th - early 20th century. Attention is paid to the development of industrial relations and their participants. It is noted that few studies deal with the topic of the relationship between immigration and industrialization. An assessment of the overall level of immigration is given and the representation of foreigners in industry and trade, it is noted that immigrants were the main labor force in the rapidly developing industrial economy of the early twentieth century. The reasons for the low level of internal migration are analyzed. The influence of continuous migration on the development of inventive activity in the USA is analyzed. The conclusion about the positive impact of migration on the pace of economic development is made.
