Abstract

This research amid to measure the effectiveness of using MOOC Massive Open Online Courses in developing cognitive skills of blockchain technology. The research relied on the experimental approach with one group quasi-experimental design was used on (85) individuals. The research tools were represented in testing the level of the cognitive skills of blockchain technology using MOOC Massive Open Online Courses. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the group at a significance level (α ≥ 0.05) in application of the pre- and post-test. This result gives an indication of the effectiveness of the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) in developing cognitive skills of blockchain technology. Therefore, the research recommends expanding the use of MOOC in teaching and developing the cognitive skills.
