Abstract

The current challenges and development tendences of higher education dictate that higher education institutions (HEIs) should ensure continuous professional development of their teaching staff, taking into account the significant impact of teaching on the quality of education. Teaching staff members should continuously undergo trainings, the efficiency of which should be implemented by applying up-to-date methods and methodical-pedagogical approaches. In this regard, the current research provides educational-methodical bases for ensuring quality of teaching staff trainings by suggesting key methodical guidelines which can be useful for HEIs, trainers, pedagogues and other stakeholders for ensuring effective teacher trainings at HEIs.
