Abstract

This article examines the issues of digitalization of the activities of economic entities operating in the United States. A brief analysis of scientific literature on the issues of digital transformation of enterprises and the development of the digital economy in various countries is carried out. Some patterns of digital transformation of organizations that are indicated in the scientific literature are identified and the extent to which these patterns are implemented within the framework of the activities of a specific organization operating in the United States is examined. Next, the author analyzes the implementation of the concept of digital transformation using the example of the Food Rocket company, operating in the delivery industry in the USA. The process of expanding the business model from classic delivery to «Dark Kitchen» and greestors based on digital transformation technologies is considered. As a result, conclusions were drawn about the usefulness of applying the experience of digital transformation of the Food Rocket company in the work of organizations of a similar profile in the Russian Federation.
