Abstract

The radiative decay widths of ϕ → ηγ and ϕ → η′γ have been calculated in the light-front framework by using Gaussian-type wavefunctions to obtain the numerical results. The calculated values of Γ(ϕ → η′γ)/Γ(ϕ → ηγ), Br(ϕ → ηγ) and Br(ϕ → η′γ) are consistent with the newest experimental data when the mixing angle of pseudoscalar mesons in the flavour basis φP = 43.7° is used. In addition, the agreement between our calculated decay widths of ω → ηγ, η′ → ωγ and η(η′) → 2γ, and the experimental data is remarkable.
