Abstract

This article considers peculiarities of the source base on the history of Nizhny Novgorod regional organization of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) in the 1990s. The main groups of the sources are identified. The degree of their availability for the professional historical community representatives is determined. The state of regional archival materials on this issue is analysed. The essential role of the party archive in preservation of the party documentation is emphasized. The conclusion is made about the necessity to refer to oral sources on regional political history.
