Abstract
The article analyzes the legal regulation of the organization and functioning of military justice bodies in the early years of the state-legal construction of the Soviet government. The authors, based on the study of normative sources, reveal the content of military judicial reform, assess the conditions and factors that influenced its implementation, and also analyze the effectiveness of the activities of military justice bodies to maintain discipline and ensure law and order in the Red Army in 1918-1920.
